Job description

Equans is looking for an Industrial Operative to join our team at EDF Hinkley Point B, Bridgwater, TA5 1UD. This is a full-time, permanent role working 37.5 hours per week, offering a competitive salary and benefits package.

Shift Pattern:

Monday to Thursday 07:00 to 15:30, Friday 07:00 to 12:30

Note:

This role requires CTC clearance; therefore, the ability to pass this clearance is essential.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform daily duties in an industrial environment, including manual labour, cleaning, equipment operation, confined space work, fire watching, pumping, assisting skilled teams, driving, and grass cutting, adhering to company standards.
2. Work safely and efficiently under the guidance of a Supervisor or Team Leader.
3. Ensure all equipment is used according to company and manufacturer standards.

Candidate Profile:

• Experience in the industrial sector preferred.
• Experience with heavy-duty cleaning and COSHH awareness is advantageous, with on-the-job training provided for limited experience.
• Intermediate knowledge of health and safety standards in similar environments.
• Training provided by EDF/EQUANS.
