Overview

Wise Employment are recruiting for Industrial Manufacturing Operatives based in Plymouth on a permanent basis.

Hours and Salary: Monday - Thursday 7am - 5.30pm, 40 hours per week with a 3-day weekend. Salary: £25,397 per annum plus opportunities for overtime at excellent rates.

Overtime: Flexibility is required. If working Monday - Thursday (after the standard 40 hours) or Friday, the hourly equivalent pay rate is £15.26 per hour; Saturday £18.32 per hour; Sunday/Bank Holidays £24.42 per hour.

About the role: As an Industrial Manufacturing Operative, you will need to have experience and understanding of manufacturing processes. The company is a worldwide organisation with over 150 years of expertise, with new and exciting projects throughout the year and a requirement for Industrial Manufacturing Operatives as they expand.

Desirable Skills
  • Previous Manufacturing / Production / Engineering / Construction knowledge is required
  • Able to understand technical drawings, and apply technical information
  • Fitting and assembly skills including the use of hand tools and marking/measuring out materials
  • Ability to learn and integrate new skills
  • Efficient at communicating throughout all levels of an organisation
  • Able to work to tight deadlines to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Aspiring and keen to advance within the organisation
Day to Day Duties
