Job summary

Breedon Group plc is seeking a Maintenance Fitter for Raisby Quarry to diagnose and repair mechanical defects, and to help deliver preventative maintenance for reliability and safety. You will work with the maintenance team to implement improvements and support daily plant operations.

The role requires experience in industrial maintenance, hydraulics, welding, fabrication and mechanics, with relevant NVQ/BTEC qualifications and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• NVQ in Mechanical Maintenance or equivalent (preferred).
• BTEC in a related discipline or higher.
• Full UK driving licence.
• NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Health and Safety and/or NEBOSH (advantageous).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical defects and perform breakdown repairs.
• Contribute to implementing preventative maintenance strategies.
• Work with the Maintenance Team Leader to improve plant reliability and safety.
• Plan and execute plant maintenance activities and improvements.
• Collaborate with team members and contractors to deliver maintenance support.
