Location: Edinburgh, IN

Shifts Available: 2nd Shift: 4:30 PM – 1:30 AM

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour

Job Overview

We are recruiting for a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and be proficient in various maintenance tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of our facility. This role requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting and repairing equipment, as well as a commitment to maintaining safety standards.

Responsibilities
  1. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  2. Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and ammeters for electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting.
  3. Conduct inspections of electrical systems, high voltage equipment, and mechanical components.
  4. Execute stick welding tasks as needed for repairs and modifications.
  5. Operate scissor lifts safely while performing maintenance tasks at height.
  6. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
  7. Collaborate with other team members to identify areas for improvement in equipment reliability.
  8. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing all maintenance duties.

Qualifications
  • Proven experience as an industrial mechanic or in a similar maintenance role.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
  • Proficient in English, with both written and verbal communication skills.

  • Experience using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and ammeters.
  • Ability to operate scissor lifts safely and effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
