This position will be located in Largo, and then Zephyrhills once the new facility is built in approximately 1 year.
Lead, provide direction, and supervise a team of production personnel in order to meet or exceed safety, quality, customer experience and cost control objectives. Actively support, provide feedback, and evaluate manufacturing personnel to ensure company policies, procedures, and best practices are adhered to. Schedule necessary manpower to meet schedule demands.

Actively support, provide feedback, and evaluate manufacturing personnel to ensure company policies, procedures, and best practices are adhered to. What You Will Do:

Responsibilities


  • Lead and ensure safety compliance in the assigned area and in accordance with company requirements and best practices.

  • Ensure compliance with quality assurance programs including physically checking production and assisting with machine set-ups.

  • Consistently lead teams to meet production and/or shipping goals to meet or exceed customer demand.

  • Monitor inventory levels necessary to complete production schedules and report discrepancies and additional requirements as necessary.

  • Direct, assist and evaluate associates in both daily and long term requirements and goals.

  • Monitors and maintains efficiencies to achieve best cost and on-time delivery.

  • Prioritize issues, analyze situations and implement effective corrective actions.

  • Provide work flow management, planning, analysis, and training necessary to operate department in a clean, safe and productive manner.

  • Review and approve employee time and schedules, including overtime management.

  • Maintains positive employee and management relations and creates a work environment that is both positive and supportive.

  • Computes amounts of stock and supplies required for operations, based on production schedules, and requisition materials from storage area.

Qualifications


  • High School/GED required

  • 1-2 Years of experience leading a team required

  • 1-2 Years of direct experience in hands-on manufacturing required


Physical Demands
This role is primarily performed in a factory and is exposed to the temperature changes. This will result in being exposed to noise, vibration, chemicals/fumes and navigate around factory machines. A portion of this role will be performed in an office environment where a computer, telephone and other office equipment are used as needed to perform the duties of the role.
