Overview

Unique Snacks is a 104-year-old, family-owned business best known for Splits, Shells, and Sourdough ring pretzels. Work Schedule: 3rd Shift (11pm - 7:30am). Typical work week is Monday – Friday; overtime/weekend work is required during extended production runs.

Responsibilities

• The maintenance mechanic is responsible for the upkeep of buildings, equipment, and mechanical systems.
• Troubleshoot promptly to perform emergency repairs and maintain operational readiness.

Qualifications

• 10-hour OSHA training
• Computer Literacy (Microsoft Office Suite and CMMS utilization)
• Strong knowledge in electro-mechanical systems
• NFPA 70E - Arc Flash Training
• Ability to read and interpret industrial facility equipment drawings and mechanical/electrical schematics
• Detail oriented with a strong emphasis on accuracy and consistency
• May wear and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as necessary
• Physical ability to perform duties, including heavy work with exposure to inclement weather, hot and humid environments
• Ability to work in a team environment and independently
• On-call rotation, overtime, and weekend availability
• English reading, writing, understanding, and communication proficiency
• Lifts up to 50 lbs
