Job summary

CanDo Laundry Services seeks a Production Operator for its Kenfig Hill Industrial Estate facility. The role supports the day-to-day laundry production floor, with loading, sorting, folding and packing to meet quality and safety standards.

This is an on-site, practical role; full training is provided. Applicants should be reliable, punctual, eager to learn, and able to work flexible shift patterns in a busy industrial environment. Teamwork and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Sort laundry and textiles into correct categories.
• Load and unload industrial washing machines, dryers and equipment.
• Fold, pack and prepare clean laundry for delivery.
• Follow instructions for different customer items and production requirements.
• Check items for quality and report issues.
• Maintain hygiene and follow folding and packaging standards.
• Work efficiently to meet daily production targets.
• Move between tasks as directed by the Supervisor or Manager.
• Attend shift on time and follow the rota.
• Follow Health & Safety procedures and wear PPE.
