Ambitions Personnel is hiring a laundry operative in Grantham to support a client on a temporary to permanent basis. You will work on two shifts: 6am-2.30pm or 2.30pm-11pm, Monday to Friday, loading and unloading machines, sorting by type, colour, and fabric, and ensuring efficient operation.

Responsibilities include folding, ironing, packing linen, checking for damage, maintaining a clean workspace, and meeting daily production targets.

• Sorting laundry by type, colour, or fabric
• Loading and unloading industrial washing and drying machines
• Operating laundry equipment safely and efficiently
• Folding, ironing, and packing clean linen
• Checking linen for damage, stains, or wear
• Maintaining cleanliness of the work area
• Following health & safety and hygiene procedures
• Meeting daily production targets and deadlines
• Handling stock and preparing orders for dispatch
• Reporting faults or maintenance issues with machinery
