Your Key Responsibilities
- Calculation: Create and maintain standardized quotation values (SAW) and calculations for RFQ and PEP processes. Analyze setup and cycle times, materials, etc., to reduce costs. Support annual capital investment planning, provide costed bills of materials, perform cost comparisons, and maintain calculation systems and guidelines.
- Order Independent Master Data: Maintain manufacturing process master data, including routings, bills of materials, and production versions in SAP. Manage material master data, including status, batch size, procurement type, etc. Maintain work center data and capacity models.
- Workplace Design: Conduct ergonomic inspections, support risk analysis, resolve ergonomic risks, and approve ergonomic designs. Facilitate ergonomic training and communication within the network.
- Work Methods: Define and communicate methods for cycle time and setup time analysis, and evaluate production specifications to optimize costs, quality, and scheduling.
- Product Development (PEP): Support product development projects (PEP 2 and PEP 3) as assigned.
- Investment: Calculate and forecast machine utilization, prepare business cases for investments in machinery and facilities.
Your Qualifications
- Education: Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 4 years in manufacturing support.
- Skills: Meets training requirements as per the training matrix.
