Job summary

Travail Employment Group is recruiting an Electrician in Wetherby. The role focuses on installing, maintaining and testing commercial and industrial electrical systems within a dynamic environment, with fault-finding and PM duties across site services.

The ideal candidate has NVQ Level 3 Electrical (or equivalent), strong fault-finding skills, and the ability to work independently within a collaborative team. Competitive salary with excellent benefits and ongoing training available.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 Electrical Qualification (or equivalent)
• Experience working within industrial and/or commercial environments
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Good understanding of current electrical regulations
• The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• A flexible and hands-on approach to problem solving
• Electro-mechanical systems experience
• Automation and automated machinery
• Electronics and control systems
• AM2 qualification
• Mechanical maintenance

Responsibilities

• Installing, maintaining and testing commercial and industrial electrical systems
• Fault-finding and repairing electrical issues to minimise downtime
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs
• Supporting electrical installations across buildings, lighting systems and site services
• Assisting with electrical and engineering projects, including automation and control systems
• Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with current electrical regulations and health & safety standards
• Maintaining accurate maintenance records and documentation
• Identifying opportunities to improve equipment performance and reliability
