We're looking for two highly skilled and motivated Electricians with a strong multi-skilled aptitude to join their dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of essential infrastructure.

The Role:

As a Multi-Skilled Electrician, you'll be at the core of our operations, responsible for the maintenance, repair, and continuous improvement of vital electrical and mechanical equipment. Your work will involve everything from planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and swift, accurate fault-finding to contributing to exciting project work. Your expertise will be crucial in keeping our facilities running efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive electrical maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repair on a diverse array of plant and machinery.
  • Conduct thorough inspections and detailed reporting on electrical and related assets, ensuring compliance and optimal performance.
  • Maintain meticulous and accurate records using our advanced maintenance management software.
  • Collaborate closely with our dedicated team on all technical, safety, and environmental matters, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Actively participate in an on-call rota to provide essential support and respond to critical issues outside of regular hours.

What You'll Bring:

  • A completed Electrical Apprenticeship or an equivalent, recognized qualification.
  • A minimum of an HNC (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, demonstrating a solid theoretical foundation.
  • A valid Driving Licence is essential for travel between sites.

Experience That Will Set You Apart:

  • Extensive hands-on experience with a broad range of electrical systems, including power distribution, motor control centers, intricate instrumentation, and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).
  • A proven track record of working with PLC systems, including installation, modifications, and fault-finding within PLC logic to diagnose and rectify complex operational issues.
  • The ability to confidently interpret and work from intricate electrical drawings and schematics.
  • Exceptional and demonstrable electrical fault-finding skills, with a methodical approach to identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
  • Ideally, you'll also possess some knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic systems, allowing you to contribute to a wider range of maintenance tasks and truly embody the multi-skilled aspect of this role.

If you're an experienced Electrician with a passion for problem-solving, a deep understanding of PLC systems, and a desire to make a tangible impact, we encourage you to apply. Join a team where your skills will be valued and your professional growth supported.
