Job summary

Gael Force Marine Equipment, located in Inverness, is seeking an Industrial Electrician to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will work primarily on feed barges and marinas, installing and repairing electrical systems according to industry standards.

This role offers a competitive hourly rate between £21 and £23, 31 days of annual leave, and various employee benefits including a staff discount. Candidates must have relevant licenses and industry experience.

Qualifications

• Qualified to City & Guilds level or above.
• Working knowledge of IEE regulations.
• Experience in the Aquaculture and marine industry.

Responsibilities

• Install electrical systems on feed barges and marinas.
• Repair electrical problems in marina and feed barge systems.
• Conduct Portable Appliance Testing (PAT).
• Ensure quality work complying with applicable codes.
• Assist in the development of products to improve quality.

Skills

Driving licence

ECS Card

Knowledge of IEE regulations

Experience in Aquaculture and marine industry

Education

City & Guilds level or above

Inspection and testing certificate (2391 or 2394 & 2395)
