Job summary

Dynex Semiconductor Ltd, based in Lincoln, is seeking an experienced Electrician to keep our high-tech manufacturing facility operating safely and efficiently. You will join a supportive multi-skilled engineering team handling reactive repairs, preventative maintenance, and energy-efficiency upgrades across the site.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent recognised qualification.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (City & Guilds 2382).
• Proven hands-on experience in industrial/manufacturing/heavy commercial environment.
• Good working knowledge of M&E installations and planned preventative maintenance systems.
• Strong safety focus and proactive problem-solving mindset.
• Desirable: City & Guilds 2391 (or 2394/#####) Inspection & Testing certification.

Responsibilities

• Fault Diagnosis & Repair: Respond promptly to electrical breakdowns across plant equipment and machinery to minimize downtime.
• Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine PPM tasks on electrical systems, M&E installations, and production equipment.
• Site Upgrades & Projects: Lead and assist with electrical installations, lighting upgrades, and continuous improvement projects across the site.
• Compliance & Safety: Maintain high standard health and safety practices, completing test, inspection, and certification tasks where qualified.
