Qualifications

• Deep understanding and extensive experience in electrical work.
• CSCS Electrician grade/JIB card.
• NVQ Level 3 qualification.
• Test & inspection 2394/2395 (or 2391) required.
• Full UK driver's license needed.
• Experience with fire alarm installation and containment installation is essential.

Working Schedule

Monday - Friday (37.5 hours per week)

Major Job Functions

• Install, maintain, modify, and repair electrical distribution systems and related equipment/lighting systems.
• Inspect and test electrical components, including transformers, transfer switches, and switchgear.
• Use blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer’s manuals to complete projects.
• Survey electrical systems, circuits, and plans.
• Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand and power tools. Terminate power/control/monitoring wiring.

Knowledge

Deep understanding and extensive experience in electrical work.

Accountability

Work on industrial and commercial projects (not domestic). Comply with BS 7671 (18th Edition) wiring regulations, national electric codes, and NICEIC requirements.

Education and Experience

• CSCS Electrician grade/JIB card
• NVQ Level 3
• Test & inspection 2394/2395 (or 2391)
• Full UK driver’s license
• Experience with fire alarm installation and containment installation (ladder/tray/basket/galvanised conduit)
• Desirable: Confined space, PASMA, MEWPs/IPAF, First aid, ContEx, SMSTS or SSSTS trained/qualified
