Location: Positions available in Hull and Bridlington areas. These are mobile roles, with home location influencing your coverage area.

Work type: Permanent, 37 hours/week, including out-of-hours standby, weekends, and bank holidays. Flexibility required for emergency callouts.

Role Responsibilities: Maintenance of electrical and mechanical assets, reactive and planned maintenance, emergency response, asset reliability improvement, supervising contractors, using workflow systems, training apprentices, installing and commissioning equipment, fault diagnosis and repair.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Recognized Electrical Apprenticeship, with relevant qualification (City & Guilds, ONC, BTEC, NVQ, HNC, or HND)
• Full driving license with no more than six points

Desirable Qualifications:

• IET 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• CompEx certification
• HNC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering

Experience & Knowledge:

• Safe isolation per IET regs
• Industrial electrician experience
• Fault finding on control circuits, PLCs, motors, starters, 3-phase systems, rotating equipment, LV control circuits
• IT skills, maintenance reporting

Desirable Experience:

• Pneumatics, ATEX standards, UPS maintenance, soft start/variable speed drives, actuated valves

Ideally, candidates will have experience in water/wastewater sectors, utilities, or manufacturing, with a systematic approach to fault diagnosis and mentoring skills. Candidates must pass medical assessments for hazardous environments.
