Working Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week

Major Job Functions
  • Install, maintain, modify, and repair electrical distribution systems and related equipment/lighting systems
  • Inspect and test electrical components, including transformers, transfer switches, and switchgear
  • Use blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer manuals to complete projects
  • Survey electrical systems, circuits, and plans
  • Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures, and terminate power/control/monitoring wiring

  • Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues
  • Effective problem-solving and analytical skills
Knowledge

Deep understanding and extensive experience in electrical systems

Accountability

Work on industrial and commercial projects (not domestic), adhering to BS 7671 (18th Edition) wiring regulations, national electrical codes, and NICEIC requirements

Education and Experience
  • CSCS Electrician grade/JIB card
  • NVQ Level 3
  • Test & inspection certification (2394/2395 or 2391)
  • Full UK driver’s license
  • Experience with fire alarm installation
  • Containment installation experience (ladder, tray, basket, galvanized conduit)
  • Desirable: Confined space, PASMA, MEWPs/IPAF, first aid, CompEx, and SSSTS certifications
