Job Description:

Working Schedule:

Monday - Friday (37.5 hours per week)

Major Job Functions:

• Install, maintain, modify, and repair electrical distribution systems and related equipment/lighting.
• Inspect and test electrical components such as transformers, transfer switches, and switchgear.
• Use blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manuals to complete projects.
• Survey electrical systems, circuits, and plans.
• Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand and power tools, including termination of power/control wiring.

Knowledge:

Extensive understanding and experience in electrical systems.

Accountability:

Work on industrial and commercial projects in accordance with BS 7671 (18th Edition), national electrical codes, and NICEIC standards.

Education and Experience:

• CSCS Electrician grade/JIB card
• NVQ Level 3
• Test & inspection 2394/2395 (or 2391)
• Full UK driver’s license
• Experience with fire alarm installation
• Containment installation experience (ladder, tray, basket, galvanised conduit)
• Desirable: Confined space, PASMA, MEWPs/IPAF, first aid, CompEx, and SMSTS/SSSTS qualifications
