Murray Cable is part of Finning (UK) Ltd, the UK and Ireland dealer for Cat machines, engines, equipment, and power solutions.

Job Description:

Salary and Benefits

Working Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week

Major Job Functions:

• Install, maintain, modify, and repair electrical distribution systems and related equipment/lighting
• Inspect and test electrical components, including transformers, transfer switches, and switchgear
• Use blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manuals for project completion
• Survey electrical systems, circuits, and plans
• Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using appropriate tools

Knowledge:

Deep understanding and extensive experience in electrical systems

Accountability:

Work on industrial and commercial projects following BS 7671 (18th Edition) wiring regulations, national electrical codes, and NICEIC standards

Education and Experience:

• CSCS Electricians grade/JIB card
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
• Test & inspection qualifications (2394/2395 or 2391)
• Full UK driving license
• Experience with fire alarm installation
• Containment installation experience (ladder, tray, basket, galvanised conduit)
• Desirable certifications include confined space, PASMA, MEWPs/IPAF, first aid, CompEx, and SSSTS or SMSTS
