Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking an Electrical Service Engineer for industrial installations in Northampton and surrounding areas. The role is field-based with a standard Mon-Fri 8:00-16:00 schedule and optional overtime.

You will install MCB/MCCB boards, fault-find electrical and lighting systems, and perform EICR inspections across recycling, processing, farming and manufacturing sites. Applicants should have Electrical NVQ Level 3/AM2, 17th/18th Edition, and a Full UK Driving Licence.

Qualifications

• Electrical NVQ Level 3 or AM2 qualification is required.
• 17th/18th Edition wiring regulations knowledge is essential.
• Full UK driving licence is mandatory for site visits.

Responsibilities

• Install MCB and MCCB boards in industrial environments.
• Carry out fault finding on electrical and lighting systems.
• Perform EICR and lighting inspections at client sites.
• Occasional travel away from base to support projects.
