Job Description

As an Industrial Disease Claims Handler you will be dealing with a caseload of industrial disease matters, mainly NIHL and asbestos related work. Your duties will include:

  • Review and assess industrial disease claims accurately and efficiently.
  • Manage a portfolio of claims from initiation to resolution.
  • Prepare and analyse legal documentation to support claims processing.
  • Maintain compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely claim resolutions.
  • Provide clear advice and updates to clients regarding their claims.
  • Monitor and report on claims progress and outcomes.
  • Ensure all case files are organised and up-to-date.
The Successful Applicant

A successful Industrial Disease Claims Handler should ideally have a minimum of 2 years experience dealing with industrial disease claims although our client will consider candidates who have experience of similar volume work such as EL/PL or motor injury claims.

  • A strong understanding of industrial disease claims and related legal frameworks.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
