Job summary
Thales in Crawley, United Kingdom, is seeking an Industrial Data & Software Engineer to develop data-driven solutions that improve manufacturing performance and enable Industry 4.0 initiatives.
You will build data pipelines, design databases, and create dashboards using Python, JavaScript, and analytics to identify inefficiencies. You will collaborate with engineering and operations to deploy solutions from requirements through to production.
Qualifications
- Requires technical degree in a relevant field such as Data Science or Engineering.
- Strong Python and JavaScript programming skills.
- Experience building data pipelines and ETL solutions.
- SQL and NoSQL database experience.
- Experience performing statistical analysis in manufacturing environments.
- Linux/Unix experience.
- Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.
Responsibilities
- Build and automate data pipelines and ETL workflows.
- Design and maintain SQL and NoSQL databases for industrial data.
- Develop dashboards and analytics to improve manufacturing performance.
- Use Python and JavaScript for data analysis and process improvement.
- Support IoT, machine monitoring, and predictive maintenance solutions.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations from requirements to deployment.
