Description

• Contribute to project team efforts as the network architecture/cyber security engineer both in the office onsite and at nuclear power generation sites.
• Conduct moderately complex network architecture & cyber security analysis, product configuration, integration testing, and troubleshoot difficult problems.
• Create asset lists including software and firmware details in support of Cyber security assessments.
• Provide network and system specification documentation for multiple projects to address cybersecurity vulnerabilities and security controls.
• Author technical documentation including configuration guides, test plans, reports, and user guides.
• Participate in information sharing, deliver presentations, technical training, and knowledge transfer.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities, contribute to project proposals and technical descriptions.
• Interpret cyber security policies and support procedure development.
• Perform system administration, network configuration, and virtual environment management.
• Participate in control systems master planning, focusing on Ovation control system security.
• Apply network security measures such as firewalls, data diodes, SIEM, and intrusion detection.
• Travel up to 25%, mainly for system deployment and commissioning.

Education:

• Technical Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical or Computer), Computer Science, Information Sciences and Technology, Cyber Security/Information Assurance, or similar.

Experience/Requirements:

• Ability to obtain 10 CFR 73.56 Trustworthy and Reliable clearance.
• Minimum of 4 years (preferably 8-10) of professional experience in engineering, administration, and security of IT/OT.
• Experience with requirements management or security audits/assessments.
• Experience with PLC, SCADA, DCS platforms (e.g., Emerson Ovation).
• Experience in industrial Operational Technology environments.
• Knowledge of engineering principles, network design, Windows domain setup, security, and group policies.
• Experience with security frameworks like NIST 800-53, ISO 27002, NEI 08-09.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in system integration, cybersecurity, network, and virtualization technologies.
• Industrial control systems experience is a plus.

Certifications:

Preferred but not required: one of the following from a recognized organization:

• GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC) or equivalent.
• GIAC Systems and Network Auditor (GSNA), CISA, or equivalent.
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).
• Cisco Security Certification (CCNP).
• ISC2 CISSP.
• Other relevant technical certifications from reputable vendors.
