Role details

  • Location: Marlborough, MA
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Territory: Daily travel within ~3 hours; company vehicle and fuel card provided

Your impact

  • Commission, service, and repair rotary screw, reciprocating, and Centac/ECC air compressors plus auxiliary compressed air components.
  • Execute preventative maintenance programs and optimize uptime using precision diagnostic tools.
  • Lead pre‑commissioning and start‑ups; complete installations and complex repairs safely and to spec.
  • Collaborate with the Service Coordinator to stage parts and materials for efficient field execution.
  • Coach apprentices and fellow technicians; translate technical findings into clear customer updates.
  • Promote solutions like Preventative Maintenance agreements, Diagnostics, Audits, and Leak Detection to improve reliability and efficiency.

Must‑haves

  • 2+ years’ experience troubleshooting industrial/commercial mechanical systems.
  • Valid driver’s license for 12+ months with a clean driving record (no DUI within 5 years; no hit & run, license suspension, reckless/careless driving, or multiple preventable incidents/infractions within the last 3 years).
  • Willingness to join a shared on‑call rotation (24/7 for one week) after your first 90 days; frequency may be as often as every 4 weeks or less based on team needs.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work: frequent use of hands/fingers; walking, stooping, kneeling; and lifting/moving per safety policy.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Technical toolkit

  • Wiring schematics/diagrams literacy
  • Advanced network installs (IMMC/ASC, X Series Automation)
  • Basic vibration troubleshooting and air treatment fundamentals
  • Microsoft Office; smartphone/iPad and network‑based tools
  • Efficient, cost‑conscious travel practices

credentials

  • Industrial air compressor maintenance experience
  • EPA Certification
  • Veterans/Active‑Duty Military encouraged to apply

Compensation & rewards

  • Hourly pay: $25.00–$35.00 (full‑time, hourly)
  • Sign‑on bonus: $3,000
