Job summary

Catering in the South East seeks an experienced Industrial Refrigeration Engineer with strong Co2 expertise. This field-based role covers sites across Herts, Sussex, Kent, and Essex, offering autonomy and long-term career progression.

You will service, maintain, install, and commission industrial refrigeration systems, working with NH3 and Co2. Excellent fault-finding and mentoring of juniors are key parts of the role.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Industrial Refrigeration Engineer.
• Essential: Co2 experience (Ammonia training can be provided).
• Exceptional fault-finding skills (electrical & mechanical).
• Experience with compressor overhauls (Sabroe, GEA or similar).
• Installation and commissioning experience.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintenance, and fault finding on industrial refrigeration systems.
• Work with ammonia (NH3) and Co2 systems.
• Carrying out system installations and commissioning.
• Diagnosing complex electrical and mechanical faults.
• Support site operations and maintain client relationships.
• Mentor and support junior engineers.
• Provide on-site support to management as required.
