Job summary

Start People Ltd are recruiting an Industrial Refrigeration Engineer (Co2) to service, install, and commission industrial refrigeration systems across client sites in the South East. The role is field-based, offering autonomy and a clear path for career progression.

The ideal candidate has proven Co2 experience, strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills, and a full UK driving licence. Ammonia training can be provided where needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Industrial Refrigeration Engineer.
• Essential Co2 experience; ammonia training can be provided.
• Exceptional fault-finding skills (electrical & mechanical).
• Experience with compressor overhauls (e.g. Sabroe, GEA or similar).
• Installation and commissioning experience.
• Able to mentor and support junior engineers.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintenance, and fault finding on industrial refrigeration systems.
• Installations and commissioning across client sites.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults and optimise systems.
• Provide on-site support to management and maintain client relationships.
• Mentor junior engineers and apprentices.
