Job summary

Biffa Waste Services is seeking an IS Operative to perform industrial cleaning at customer sites, using high-risk confined space entry techniques, HP water jetting, and decontamination of tanks, vessels and pipe networks across the UK.

The role requires travel, overtime and occasional nights away, with a Monday to Friday 40-hour pattern and a competitive salary plus development and pension benefits.

Qualifications

• HP Water Jetting certification/experience (Preferred)
• Breathing Apparatus certification/experience (Preferred)
• Confined Space certification / experience (Preferred)
• Current driving licence (preferably with towing capacity)Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, helpful attitude.

Responsibilities

• Perform industrial cleaning works at customer premises using high-risk confined space entry techniques and HP water jetting equipment.
• Remediate & de-contaminate industrial systems including tanks, vessels, pipe networks and land decontamination works.
• Travel across the country on projects with occasional nights away; overtime paid at appropriate rate.
• Support large turnaround and projects across the UK on COMAH and other high-risk sites.
