Job summary

Dunbia is currently seeking to recruit an Industrial Cleaner for the Hygiene Department. In this role, you will provide an efficient and effective cleaning service while reporting to the Hygiene Manager.

Key responsibilities include ensuring high cleaning standards, dismantling equipment for cleaning, and obeying safety protocols for cleaning chemicals. This position operates on a Saturday – Sunday basis during evening shifts and requires self-motivation, flexibility, and the ability to work

Overview

Responsibilities

• Responsible for providing a high level cleaning service to specific areas of the department;
• Dismantle relevant production equipment to enable cleaning to be carried out;
• Cleaning of, equipment, tables, lines, walls and floors etc
• Cleaning waste bins and drains after production is completed;
• Use cleaning chemicals as instructed and in a safe manner;
• Ensure compliance with company cleaning standards.
• Be able to follow a planned cleaning schedule;

Qualifications

• Self-motivated to ensure all jobs are completed on time;
• Communication and organisation skills;
• The ability to work to tight deadlines;
• Flexible and able to work overtime as and when required to meet factory demands;
• The ability to maintain and improve on our high levels of hygiene.
