Job summary

The Best Connection are currently recruiting for Industrial Cleaners / Labourers to work on the Coal & Coke Side at British Steel, Scunthorpe. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established team working regular daytime hours with excellent overtime opportunities.

Shift pattern is Monday to Friday with weekend overtime available and a friendly, safety-focused working environment. Full training and a supportive manager ensure clear expectations, with opportunities to progress

Responsibilities

• Industrial cleaning of plant, machinery, walkways and work areas
• Shovelling and removal of coal, coke and process waste
• General housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Cleaning spillages and removing debris from operational areas
• Assisting site teams with general labouring duties
• Operating industrial cleaning equipment and tools
• Supporting maintenance activities when required
• Adhering to all health & safety procedures and site regulations
• Reliable and hardworking
• Able to work in a heavy industrial environment
• Physically fit and capable of manual labour
• Previous industrial cleaning, labouring or manufacturing experience beneficial but not essential
• Strong commitment to health and safety

Pay Rates

• £12.71 per hour (First 12 weeks)
• £13.09 per hour (After 12 weeks)
• Weekday Overtime: £16.52 per hour

As an Industrial Cleaner/Labourer, your duties will include:

• Industrial cleaning of plant, machinery, walkways and work areas
