Job summary

The Best Connection are recruiting for Industrial Cleaners / Labourers to work on the Coal & Coke Side at British Steel in Scunthorpe. This role offers regular daytime hours with excellent overtime opportunities and a supportive team environment.

Shifts run Monday to Friday, 08:00–16:00, with pay rates starting at £12.71 per hour for the first 12 weeks and £13.09 thereafter, plus weekday (£16.52) and weekend (£19.07) overtime. Experience in industrial cleaning is beneficial but not essential.

• Reliable and hardworking; able to perform manual labour.
• Physically fit and capable of working in a heavy industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Industrial cleaning of plant, machinery, walkways and work areas.
• Shovelling and removal of coal, coke and process waste.
• General housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Cleaning spillages and removing debris from operational areas.
• Assisting site teams with general labouring duties.
• Operating industrial cleaning equipment and tools.
• Supporting maintenance activities when required.
• Adhering to all health & safety procedures and site regulations.

INDUSTRIAL CLEANER / LABOURER REQUIRED

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established team working regular daytime hours with excellent overtime opportunities.

Shift Pattern

• Monday to Friday
• 08:00 - 16:00

Pay Rates
