Job summary

Adecco is seeking an Industrial Cleaner in Hyde to join a busy manufacturing environment. The role focuses on maintaining high cleanliness standards across factory, production areas and machinery to ensure a safe and efficient workplace.

This temporary to permanent opportunity offers day shifts from 6:00am to 4:00pm (Mon-Thu) and 6:00am to 2:00pm (Fri). Pay is £13.49 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial cleaning or factory cleaning is essential.
• Understanding of health and safety procedures in an industrial setting.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude.
• Capable of carrying out manual cleaning duties.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Clean factory floors, production areas, and workstations.
• Clean and sanitise industrial machinery and equipment.
• Manage and clear spillages safely and efficiently.
• Remove waste materials and follow designated disposal procedures.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards throughout the site.
• Use industrial cleaning equipment and chemicals per health and safety procedures.
• Support production teams by keeping work areas clean, safe, and operational.
• Report maintenance issues, hazards, or safety concerns to management.

• Using industrial cleaning equipment and chemicals in accordance with health and safety procedures.
• Supporting production teams by ensuring work areas remain clean, safe, and operational.
• Reporting any maintenance issues, hazards, or safety concerns to management.

Requirements

• Previous experience working within an industrial cleaning, factory cleaning, or manufacturing cleaning environment is essential.
