Job Opportunity: Industrial Cleaner

Our client is one of the UK's leading bakery manufacturers with over 130 years of baking experience, producing iconic brands. They deliver around 1.3 million loaves daily across the UK and Ireland.

We are seeking dedicated Industrial Cleaners to join the hygiene department at our client's Belfast site. The role involves working across various departments on an ongoing temporary basis, with potential for permanent positions for suitable candidates. Ensuring health, safety, and hygiene standards are maintained is crucial, especially during busy periods.

Key Information:

• Location: Belfast, BT12 6LP
• Pay Rate: From £12.21 to £12.54 per hour, with pay progression opportunities
• Work Schedule: Flexible day shifts (as early as 6am), night shifts (from 6pm), including weekends
• Contract: Temporary with potential for permanent employment
• Benefits: Full paid training, access to Blue Arrow training portal, opportunities for job progression, support to gain Level 2 food & hygiene certification

Your Responsibilities:

• Perform high-standard cleaning and housekeeping across all bakery departments
• Clean waste disposal units, sweep/mop around machines, clean changing rooms and toilets
• Maintain outdoor areas and yard cleanliness
• Complete documentation accurately and timely
• Participate in customer visits and audits as required

Candidate Requirements:

• Willingness to undertake physical manual handling tasks
• Comfortable working in confined, hot, or cold environments, including outside and at heights
• Flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends
• Ability to support other roles when needed
• Clear and concise communication skills
