As an Industrial Automation Engineer, you will join the ShopFloor Support Team and be part of a team supporting manufacturing critical applications.
Key responsibilities:
- Work closely with the support team to understand issues and provide solutions within the defined time frame.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members.
- Communicate effectively with key stakeholders to provide regular updates and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Develop permanent solutions to recurring issues and application performance problems.
- Maintain high-quality and accurate support documentation.
- Create and share knowledge and information with team members and the company.
Key experience:
- Experience with MES/SMO technology.
- Knowledge of Aveva Wonderware InTouch, PLC, SCADA, HMI.
- Experience with machine integration is an advantage.
- Good understanding of COTS manufacturing IT applications.
- Experience integrating factory automation layers with MES.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse groups, including executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
- Knowledge of machine integration via OPC and various interfacing protocols.
- Knowledge of PLCs, SCADA, sensors, IIoT devices, and Aveva Wonderware InTouch.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes is beneficial.
- Ability to coordinate communication between suppliers, OEMs, and business stakeholders.
- Track and report progress to stakeholders.
- Experience working with ServiceNow and knowledge of Incident, Problem, Change, SLM, and Knowledge Management processes.
