Job Summary

An exciting opportunity to join a leading manufacturing team as an Industrial Automation Support Engineer. You will play a key role in supporting and enhancing shopfloor automation systems, ensuring seamless integration and performance of critical manufacturing IT applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with the support team to understand and resolve issues within defined timeframes.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members.
  • Communicate effectively with key stakeholders, providing regular updates and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Deliver permanent solutions to recurring and application performance issues.
  • Maintain high-quality and accurate solution and application support documentation.
  • Share knowledge and information with team members and across the company.
  • Coordinate communications between suppliers, OEMs, and business stakeholders.
  • Track and report progress to stakeholders.

Skills, Experience, And Abilities Required

  • Experience with MES/MOM technology.
  • Knowledge of Aveva/Wonderware Intouch, PLC, SCADA, and HMI systems.
  • Advantageous to have experience with machine integration.
  • Strong understanding of COTS Manufacturing IT applications.
  • Experience integrating the factory automation layer with MES.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse groups, including executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
  • Knowledge of machine integration through OPC and various interfacing protocols.
  • Familiarity with PLC, SCADA, sensors, IIOT devices, and Aveva Wonderware Intouch.
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes is a plus.
  • Experience with ServiceNow and understanding of Incident, Problem, Change, SLM, and Knowledge Management processes.
