Job summary

American Trim is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to perform advanced maintenance, electrical and automation work on automated manufacturing systems. You will troubleshoot PLCs, robotics and servo motors, install, repair and modify equipment, and support Engineering on improvements.

The role requires strong knowledge of electronic controls, sensors and tooling, with responsibilities to mentor colleagues and collaborate across Maintenance, Production and Engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Extensive industrial maintenance experience with advanced electrical/mechanical troubleshooting and automation skills.
• Experience troubleshooting PLC-controlled manufacturing equipment and automated systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment and automated systems including robots, loaders, unloaders and transfer systems.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and technical support for PLCs, sensors, servo systems and robotics.
• Assist Electrical/Controls Engineers with diagnostics, startup and modification of equipment.
• Mentor and train Maintenance and Production staff on equipment and systems.
