Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Industrial Automation Engineer to contribute to Randburg-based manufacturing initiatives. You will design, implement and maintain automated systems to drive production efficiency and innovation, working with Siemens/Rockwell PLCs, HMI, and robotics.

The role requires a Bachelor's in a relevant engineering field and at least five years of hands-on automation experience, with a focus on safety, networks, and robotics integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level engineering degree in a relevant field is required.
• Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in industrial automation and control systems.
• Proficient with Siemens and Rockwell PLC platforms and HMI software.
• Experience with FANUC or KUKA robotics and motion control systems.
• Strong knowledge of industrial networks, sensors, and safety circuits.

Responsibilities

• Design, program, and commission automation systems including PLCs, HMIs and SCADA.
• Develop and integrate robotic systems into production lines.
