KWS UK Ltd. invites applications for a 15-month Industrial Placement starting July 2027 to September 2028, based in Thriplow near Cambridge.

This full-time role (35h/week) offers extensive training in agriculture and plant breeding, with industry qualifications possible, and a chance to gain insight into a leading plant breeding company. Ideal candidates are pursuing an agriculture/plant breeding degree, passionate about farming, and hold a full driving licence, ready to learn and contribute to

Job description

KWS UK Ltd. is looking for a talent to join our breeding station for a 15-Month Industrial Placement starting from July 2027 to September 2028. This opportunity will be based in Thriplow near Cambridge. This job is full-time (35h/week).

Your development opportunity

• Help you maximise your opportunity to learn and develop
• Provide a bespoke, extensive training programme, which may include industry qualifications such as NPTC Pesticide application courses.
• Train you in the use of a range of agricultural machinery and equipment
• Give you the opportunity to gain an insight into a successful plant breeding company

Your profile

• Be studying for an agriculture/plant breeding related degree
• Have enthusiasm and interest in agriculture, preferably plant breeding
