Join an Ofsted Outstanding Independent Specialist School, catering to young people aged 6 to 19 with complex communication and social needs, typically associated with Autism Spectrum Conditions. You'll be part of a committed team, dedicated to providing an education that fosters confidence, resilience, and empowers each child from day one!

With around 110 pupils, the school offers a personalised and supportive environment. They are currently seeking an Individual Needs Assistant (SEN) to join their primary team on a full-time, term-time only basis (8:30 AM - 3:30 PM).

Responsibilities
  • Spend 80% of time supporting SEN learners on a 1:1 basis, with the remaining time working in small groups
  • Support learners with profound needs where required
  • Contribute to delivering a broad, balanced curriculum tailored to meet each pupil's unique needs
  • Collaborate with the team to monitor progress and adapt approaches as needed
Qualifications
  • Relevant Teaching Assistant experience (must be able to provide references)
  • Relevant knowledge of the current national curriculum
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
