The opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and ambitious individual to join EY’s specialist Tax Transformation team. Our business has grown rapidly due to our clients' focus on understanding, deploying, and benefiting from indirect tax technology.

Successful candidates will have the opportunity to lead and manage work with significant multinational clients and engage with our global EY network, providing a great platform to build and expand your professional network.

Your Key Responsibilities

1. Deliver high-quality VAT technology projects and advice to clients, leveraging experience and best practices.
2. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing excellent service.
3. Develop internal and external relationships to identify opportunities and grow your network.
4. Support business development efforts, including the sales process and client relationship management.
5. Ensure the successful delivery of projects with technical excellence and practical, business-driven approaches.
6. Contribute to the development of new propositions and liaise with IT resources on new technology solutions.
7. Manage the day-to-day delivery of client projects.

Skills And Attributes For Success

1. Experience managing resources across multiple projects.
2. Background in consulting, with experience interacting with clients on large-scale projects.
3. Solid VAT/Tax knowledge, including compliance and supply chain.
4. Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics) and related technology, data, and processes.
5. Proven track record of high-quality delivery.
6. Self-motivated, good at managing time, and able to handle complexity and priorities.
7. Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
8. Team player.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Experience with indirect tax technology and processes.
2. Experience with tax functionality in major ERP systems.
3. Preferably, experience working in a consultancy environment (Big 4 or similar).
