KPMG's Indirect Tax practice is among the UK's leading, providing advice and support in VAT, Customs Duty, and Green taxes to sectors including multinationals, retailers, public sector, and financial services.

The practice is fast-growing, with around 13 partners and 190 staff nationwide. We support clients with a variety of indirect tax issues, including sectors like Retail, Supply Chain, International Trade, Public Sector, and Financial Services. We collaborate closely with Trade & Customs, Corporate, and Employment tax teams.

The role is within the Financial Services Indirect Tax team, servicing clients in VAT and Insurance Premium Tax, working closely with clients to understand their activities and operations. We handle both compliance and advisory services, with recent successes including projects with investment banks, insurers, asset managers, and fintechs.

  • Providing high-quality indirect advisory and compliance services to FS clients
  • Maintaining and developing client relationships

  • Mentoring junior team members

Qualifications and Skills
  • ACA, CTA, or qualified solicitor with relevant indirect tax experience
