This role in a nutshell:

You will support the Senior Indirect Tax Manager in developing and implementing VAT controls and processes for the OVO Group, ensuring compliance with indirect tax obligations, especially during system and platform changes.

Your key outcomes will be:

  1. Collaborate with the indirect tax team to improve processes.
  2. Analyze the indirect tax impacts of business changes and initiatives.
  3. Work with stakeholders to influence system design for compliance.
  4. Enhance systems and controls continually.
  5. Raise awareness of indirect tax issues within Finance.
  6. Assist in providing VAT advice on business initiatives.
  7. Manage correspondence with HMRC and prepare for audits.
  8. Stay updated on legislative changes and risks.
