Allianz UK Group in Guildford is seeking an Indirect Tax Manager to lead UK VAT/IPT, manage a team of tax accountants, and provide specialist tax advice across Finance, Operations, and more. The role is hybrid with office attendance Monday and Thursday.

The candidate should have a CTA or equivalent, strong UK indirect tax experience, and excellent stakeholder skills. The company offers flexible benefits and development opportunities.

Competenze

• Qualified CTA or equivalent professional qualification required.
• Proven experience with UK indirect taxes (VAT and IPT).
• Experience in insurance sector with partial exemption methods.
• Strong knowledge of indirect tax compliance, reporting, and governance.
• Ability to interpret complex tax legislation for non-tax stakeholders.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills.

• Lead indirect tax matters and manage a team of tax accountants.
• Oversee VAT, IPT returns and compliance deadlines.
• Provide specialist indirect tax advice to stakeholders across Finance, Operations, Underwriting, Claims, Procurement and Technology.
