Job Description

Manage indirect procurement activities whilst ensuring minimal spend.

Key Responsibilities

• Day-to-day indirect purchasing activities (request for quotes, purchase orders placement and follow-up, communication with suppliers.
• Competitive bid all indirect requirements, coming via electronic purchase requisitions from the MRP, from the other teams or via the capital expenditure form
• Supplier onboarding and compliance maintenance
• On-site contractors documentation management
• Coordination with the on-site integrated supplier (daily to-buy report + management of the on-site team + cost saving activities)
• Deal with customs and logistics queries, including customs clearance forms
• People onboarding: Business cards, safety shoes, workwear management
• Represent the Purchasing team during audits
• Identify cost savings opportunities and action them
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key indirect suppliers
• Identify indirect inventory reduction opportunities and action them
• Ensure compliance to sourcing and contracting policies, procedures, risk management programs, and ethics.
