JOB PURPOSE
As the Indirect Procurement Operations Manager at Burberry, you will manage the Indirect Procurement Operations team, oversee operational improvement projects, and drive strategic priorities. This role focuses on the Purchase-To-Pay (“P2P”) process, primarily working with SAP Ariba and acting as the interface between the business and the procurement team.
This is a full-time, permanent role with hybrid working arrangements, requiring 3 days per week in our Queen Street, Leeds office.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage daily procurement cases raised by colleagues via BMC Helix, ensuring queries are resolved efficiently and SLAs, KPIs, and customer satisfaction scores are met.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of approximately 10 colleagues, including 2 direct reports and 7 administrators, through coaching and empowerment.
- Produce weekly and monthly reports for senior management.
- Identify and resolve process issues raised by the team, colleagues, or vendors, adopting a continuous improvement approach.
- Collaborate closely with the Transactional Finance teams, especially Accounts Payable, to ensure aligned and effective processes.
- Share best practices and promote consistency within the operations team to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain all documentation, including user guides and process maps.

- Experience and expertise in end-to-end purchase-to-pay processes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across all levels.
- Highly organized, capable of managing workload, team management, and projects while focusing on priorities and customers.
- Proven ability in process improvement with a customer-focused mindset.
- Hands-on project management experience.
- Experience managing high-performing teams with coaching and empowerment.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the wider Office 365 suite.
- Experience with Ariba or other P2P systems; knowledge of PowerBI or visualization tools is advantageous.
