Your Team Responsibilities

The MSCI Indexed Investments & Solutions team is part of the OneMSCI coverage team with the primary objective of providing clarity on the investable products (primarily ETFs & Passive Funds) linked to the MSCI Index ecosystem, including insights on index construction methodologies along with detailed analysis on Global Markets. The team also develops, analyses, and commercialises macro-related themes by helping clients identify suitable MSCI linked products to express their views on a portfolio level and better understand explicit and implicit dependencies.

Further, the team is also responsible for the development of new investable strategies that are based on best practices and innovation. We deploy new data signals and analytical models for prototyping investable indexed strategies prior to production.

Your Key Responsibilities

The appropriate candidate will be asked to primarily work with Wealth Managers, Private Banks, and Asset Managers in the UK, focusing on promoting MSCI’s IP and ultimately providing transparency on the indexes tracked by the corresponding ETFs. The candidate will interact with CIOs, Portfolio Managers, Fund Selectors, Portfolio Construction, and Quant/Research & Strategy Teams, covering a wide spectrum of indexes across Equity and Fixed Income (e.g. Sector, Factor, Emerging Markets, Sustainable indexes) and multi-asset class indexed strategies. A strong relationship management focus is required, as well as developing technical expertise around MSCI’s investment capabilities and innovation. Additionally, the successful candidate will need to build solid relationships with MSCI strategic ETF partners and work with the respective Sales and Strategy teams to jointly promote MSCI linked ETFs.

• Promote MSCI’s linked ETFs and grow ABF business
• Work with Wealth Managers, Private Banks, and Asset Managers in the UK as well as strategy ETF partners
• Relationship Management with Clients
• Prototyping Indexed Investment Strategies spanning different areas (Equities, Fixed Income, Multi-Asset Class, and Real Assets)
• Support the Index Sales team with market insights and use-cases (cross-leverage the analysis conducted)
• Promote the OneMSCI agenda, as the role requires a wide skillset across index, analytics, products, and portfolio implementation.
