Job description

To succeed in this role, you will need a demonstrated track record of success in selling index-based solutions and products such as Market Data to Buy Side & Sell Side clients, along with an interest in Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) topics, a strong financial background, and proven sales experience.

The role requires a high level of technical acumen, attention to detail, the ability to understand front office needs, and strong collaboration skills.

Responsibilities
  • Achieve revenue and renewal goals by identifying and closing index sales opportunities with existing clients and prospects.
  • Grow Euronext's market share, recognition, and perception within the investment management and asset owner community.
  • Cultivate relationships with Asset Managers, Banks, Asset Owners, and Consultants.
  • Continuously assess index-based market opportunities, define and update a sales plan for the territory, and discuss with Sales Management.
  • Ensure detailed sales and renewal reporting and forecasting.
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing clients and prospects.
  • Record all client and prospect contacts, meetings, and telephone activity in the firm's CRM system.
  • Share relevant industry and opportunity information across the sales group and index designers.
Qualifications
  • At least 5 years' experience in institutional sales and relationship management, specifically with index-related products.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline; additional qualifications such as CFA are advantageous.
  • Proven business development and revenue generation experience, either direct or through strategic partners.
  • Strong relationship and project management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational and verbal communication skills.
  • Absolute personal and business integrity.
  • Fluency in English; additional European languages (German, Italian, Spanish) are a plus.
