Job Description:

Highly experienced Independent Safety Auditor (ISA) is required to support the MOD in ensuring safety engineering activities comply, are implemented according to plan, and are fit for purpose. You will join a specialist and growing team working for Defence clients across the air domain, including fixed wing, rotary, and autonomous systems. This is an exciting opportunity to help develop and shape RINA’s ISA capability, providing the Defence sector with world-class safety advisory services.

This role can be based out of our offices in Chippenham, Lincoln, or Leatherhead. RINA adopts a smart/hybrid working approach, so living within commuter distance of the office is not necessarily required. Moderate travel across the UK is expected. The position is permanent, but we will also consider a part-time (PAYE) role: 4 days/week.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead various ISA engagements, ensuring requirements are met on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Manage projects either independently or by leading a small team.
  • Support bids, proposals, analysis, and report writing.
  • Promote RINA’s Safety capability to clients through face-to-face liaison, relationship building, and presentations.
  • Assist the Safety management team in augmenting safety capabilities to meet new and emerging market demands.

Note: If you are not a passport holder of the country where the vacancy is located, you might need a work permit. Please check our Blog for more information.
