Job description

Flexibility Encouraged | Supportive Management | Long Term Contract | Work Your Own Hours

IR0 - Children’s Services | £38 P/H

We are seeking an Independent Reviewing Officer to join a children’s services team in the West Midlands.

As an IRO, you will ensure the quality of performance and service by reviewing and planning safeguarding systems for children and young people. Your role will include scrutinising and analysing the work of social workers in the looked-after children’s service, challenging practice when necessary, and consulting with staff to foster improvements.

The manager promotes flexibility, allowing you to work your own hours. This is a long-term opportunity ideal for those seeking stability.

Leaders in Care offers a rate of £38/hour, supported by a service with over 600 five-star Google reviews. Benefits include weekly check-ins, support during your placement, and a market-leading timesheet and payroll system, ensuring Fridays are stress-free.

As this is a statutory role, a social work qualification and registration with Social Work England are required.
