Independent Retail Stocktake Assistant

Salary: £13.73 inclusive of holiday pay (£12.25 per hour + £1.48 holiday pay)*

Retail & Asset Solutions are currently seeking motivated, professional, and flexible individuals to complete stock counts for well-known retailers on a casual contract basis across the UK. As an Independent Retail Stocktake Assistant, you will be required to drive independently to each shift.

The Role

• We are looking for retail stock counters to add to our successful team.
• Work will be carried out on different retail customer sites and stores, with travel varying on a shift-by-shift basis.
• You will be responsible for ensuring stock is counted quickly and accurately using a handheld scanner.
• Being able to stand for prolonged periods is necessary, and access equipment may be used on occasion to reach high stock.

Key Skills/Experience Required

• Due to the nature of our work, you must be able to work unsociable hours, including early mornings and nights when required. Applicants must be 18 or over.
• You must have a full driving license.
• You should have a ‘can-do’ attitude and be able to work long shifts on large counts.
• Being a quick learner is essential due to evolving technology.
• Experience handling stock is an advantage but not necessary.
