Qualifications

• Inscription auprès de GPhC ou NMC requise.

Are you an experienced pharmacist looking to make a meaningful impact in patient care? We're seeking a passionate and skilled Independent Prescribing Pharmacist to join our innovative healthcare team.

About the role

- Undertake online consultations and prescribe when appropriate

- Follow our strict guidelines for prescribing

- Use our secure IT platform for all patient interactions

- Undertake video or telephone consultations when needed

- Attend our training events and take part in clinical meetings

- Maintain your own skills and CPD

What you'll need to have

We welcome applications from candidates with a range of backgrounds and experiences. To succeed in this role, ideally you will have:

- Experience in remote or online prescribing (e.g. working in digital health settings, telemedicine platforms, or similar).

- Experience in primary care or a comparable clinical setting.

- At least 2 years of independent prescribing experience.

- (If you're an internal applicant, we're open to considering less experience or those new to prescribing - we'll support your development.)

- Registration with GPhC or NMC

- Independent Prescribing Qualification

- You will be aware of your own limitations and of relevant national guideline

- You will have experience of consulting with patients and making independent decisions

- You will be able to make decisions promptly and know when to ask for help

- You will have a can-do attitude and be committed to always improving our services

- You will be a flexible team player who can thrive in our start-up mentality. We have a lot to learn and iterations are frequent!

It would be great if you also have

- Experience prescribing in one or more of the following areas is highly desirable:

- Weight management (e.g. GLP-1s)

- Dermatology

- Women's health (e.g. contraceptives, menopause care)

- Mental health or ADHD

- Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Practice

- Experience in Primary care, Sexual Health or Dermatology

- Previous remote/online consulting experience
