Job summary

LiveWest is recruiting a part-time Support Worker to empower individuals with diverse needs to live independently in the Newquay area from Kernow Court. The role involves lone working, 22.2 hours weekly, on a rolling 4-week rota, with shifts including banks and weekends.

You will assess risks, maintain records, and work with teams to promote community participation while safeguarding vulnerable groups.

Qualifications

• Understanding of support needs and support planning.
• Experience with risk assessing and risk management.
• Strong communication and rapport-building abilities.
• Accurate record keeping and computer skills.
• Comfortable with lone working and able to work as part of a team.
• Flexible working approach and ability to meet deadlines.
• Resilient, adaptable and maintain a positive attitude under pressure.

Responsibilities
